Palm is again on the mobile device race. At least they hope so, with the new Palm Pré.

I wonder what the "Pré" on the product name might mean.
Anyway, I hope people can build "real" applications for this, just like the numerous (and quite usefull) apps for the classic palms, and not just "web applications".
Not everybody has access to the communications infra-structure to access on-line apps on a mobile.
